Just beginning to research kayak selection/outfitting, etc. I tend to be a meat-fisherman (crappie, bluegill etc). Use ultralight or flyrod with popping bugs, maybe even a cane pole. As you might guess, I prefer freshwater fishing. Would probably fish mostly in Walsingham Lake or Lake Tarpon, given a choice. Plan to attend the June meeting.

I am interested in joining a kayak fishing club. I have been fishing the waters of Pinellas County from a Scupper Pro for the last 12-years. My favorite location is Fort Desoto, but also like Weedon's Island and Caladesi.
